Laurent Penard : Full Natty aspiring Champion !

The World Champion 2019 Stan and Laurent, aspiring champion/ Jules Lebret Photography

Seen from afar, through binoculars and through social medias, Laurent Penard verges on caricature: muscle showing off in a workaholic version of a young sales manager, working round the clock, eager for dough and medals.

His first competition in May 2017.
Seen up close, he’s a swell guy from Bordeaux, with that implied class and southern stylishness, which twarts clichés and allies, under a natural muscled shell, contrariness and a big heart.

Assumed Alpha Male, solidly anchored in a high Franco-Andalusian tradition, Laurent Penard is the exact opposite of a lobrow Alt-right guy.

He is one of the three pillars of the most crossbreedy and vitamin-rich trio in the French Fit Game, the Nokids, where virile camaraderie abounds between himself(a Franco-Spaniard), Stan (an Haitian), and Yeslem (a Mauritanian).

Laurent is already at pdc + 14 with 90 kilos for 1m76 and with 43 cm of biceps (appearing 45 by sigh alone)

His strength record, reached last winter, is 260 kilos at 60 rack pull!

He's the most truly virile 21-year-old guy I've met in a quarter of a century of observing daily the Fit Game, since the great Eric Cagnard. He’ll be the main (but not exclusive) model for the hero of my next novel devoted to the clash of the worlds of culture and bodybuilding, called “Stries”.

This is the second of a series of articles that I will devote to him, 3 or 4 times a year, to follow his evolution as closely as possible, as he begins to think very seriously to come back in competition with his new  coach, the famous Morgan Nakhisa. In order to highlight a contender of French Natty Bodybuilding.
